To reach the goals of the Iowa Nutrient Reduction Strategy, it will take millions of acres of cover crops and tens of thousands of edge-of-field conservation drainage practices. In order to reach those numbers, Iowa will need substantially more cover crop seed growers, seed cleaners, custom applicators, trucks, drills, high-clearance interseeders, aerial application equipment, operators, contractors, equipment suppliers, and more. 

These and other economic opportunities will increase jobs across Iowa.
