A leader of civil, agricultural, and environmental engineering projects for ISG, Ivan Droessler brings over 30 years of planning, design, and management experience to his role. Ivan’s portfolio of work is very diverse and represents experience in drainage, landfill design, animal waste management, and storm water control projects. Ivan’s work as a drainage consultant is highly regarded and he has provided services for numerous drainage districts throughout Iowa Counties. His services include drainage and flood control studies, repairs, improvements, annexations, reclassifications, and levy calculation assistance. He also provides professional services to landfills and has designed leachate collection and storage systems, prepared vertical expansion plans, written comprehensive solid waste management plans, and he also provides annual water quality monitoring and landfill inspection services for his landfill clients. In addition to solid waste, Ivan provides animal manure management services for livestock producers. He has experience in swine, beef, dairy and poultry. His designs have included earthen basins, aerobic lagoons, deep concrete pits, open concrete tanks and shallow pit flushing systems. Stormwater control and grade stabilization projects are also a part of Ivan’s expertise and his work for the flood -control project for the City of Onawa, Iowa and the Onawa Drainage District earned an Engineering Excellence Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies, Iowa Chapter.
